Santafé Boutique Hotel

The reservation got off to a rough start, and most of the staff speak very little English. Things improved once I got to my room, which was huge, with a large bathroom and a bathtub. I liked that the windows open for fresh air. There's no air conditioning, but it was chilly while I was there anyway. Breakfast wasn't anything special, and the cleaning staff were very friendly. I did enjoy my stay.

The location is the one good thing about this hotel. The staff were rude when they heard my broken Spanish. My room smelled like an old people's home, and it wasn't very clean. See the photos. I almost never leave a negative review, but for what we paid, there was nothing deluxe about the junior suite.

The hotel has a lovely view and a nice location. It's small, so the staff get to know you and make an effort to accommodate you. The food served each day and the service were amazing.

For $46 a night, including breakfast, I thought this was pretty good value with an internet deal, especially since it's not a fancy hotel. My room was roomy compared with U.S. hotels, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The small fridge worked well, but the safe didn't. They brought a decent breakfast right to my room, pretty much whenever I asked, even at 5 am. The staff were amazingly friendly and respectful. The location in northern Bogota was very good, close to lots of restaurants and stores. The garage is quite small.
