I got the price down to 120k, plus 10k for parking. They first asked for 170k, but Hampton had the same price, so I wasn’t going for that. Turns out I was lucky to bargain, since the TV doesn’t work. I had three beds and a bathroom, with WiFi and hot water. They gave me extra towels and soap when I asked, at no charge. The TVs in both my rooms were out of order. I left the keys with them whenever I went out, just in case there was trouble and I needed to let them know. Bogotá can be dangerous at night, so if you go out, stick to where you meant to go and come back. Getting lost isn’t worth the hassle, with so many people around and not many police. Check your restaurant bill too. At Balsamic restaurant, the waiter overcharged me. I laughed and paid anyway because I’d expected to spend around $400 American for five people eating a lot with live music. When they said 500k, I figured it should be more like 300-350k, but let it go.

The location is really good, but the service was mediocre, and I couldn’t get proper rest. It was extremely noisy from very early in the morning. My room smelled strongly musty, and although the bed looked large, it was two single beds pushed together, which made sleeping uncomfortable.

The room was cramped, smelled odd, had no ventilation, and came with no amenities. We paid much more than at other Airbnbs nearby. We weren’t expecting hotel-level service from an Airbnb, but this fell far short. At 6:00 am, an employee woke us by shouting for toiletries and chatting with coworkers about personal things, with awkward laughter. I wouldn’t recommend it at all, 0/10. Find another nearby Airbnb; you’ll be better off.

They wanted 180,000 pesos for the room, which is ridiculously expensive, then charged extra for basics like soap, shampoo, and body lotion. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here. Those things should come with a hotel room. Stay away!
