The beds and showers were fine, but the noise carried everywhere, even into the rooms, and went on until night. Music from the next-door restaurant blared through reception and the shared space, while a different track played nearby in the dining area, so the sounds overlapped. There wasn’t anywhere quiet or a proper place to chill, and the social atmosphere just wasn’t there. This didn’t feel like a backpacker hostel, more like a place for digital nomads working, or a cheap wannabe urban hotel. One of my worst hostel stays, surprisingly.

The staff made a great impression, always friendly, helpful, and ready with recommendations. Daniel and his colleague were especially kind and attentive. It’s a great place in Bogotá, with a perfect location, a roomy common area, comfortable rooms and beds, and a coworking space that works well for getting things done. I had an amazing stay, would definitely recommend it, and can’t wait to return.

Karlos at reception was amazing, both as a support and as a friend. Really, all the staff were great. I loved this place and would be happy to stay here again if I come back.

I loved the hostel and the neighborhood during my week here. I’ve stayed in over 400 hostels while traveling, and maintenance and communication with guests need work. Half the toilets were out of order because cheap plastic parts had broken. Some stayed broken during my visit, and ones that got fixed often broke again within 1-2 days. There were no signs on the broken ones, so people used them as usual. Only the shower beside the big shower room had reliably hot water. The others took 2-3 minutes to warm up, despite Bogotá’s serious water shortage and water cuts. One morning there was no water, and another there was no hot water, but guests weren’t told. The day staff were amazing, cleaning and making sure things were right. Night staff seemed quite lazy, and the bathrooms often ran out of toilet paper. I hate leaving a bad review, but with better maintenance this would be an awesome hostel.
