I stay here often, and the people are really nice. The rooms are decent, though a bit small, so be sure to ask for one facing outward. The restaurant changes things up each time I visit, but the view from that side of the building isn't inspiring. They have a couple of upgrade packages. I highly recommend access to the basement spa: the whirlpool, steam room, and masseuse are all A+.
This is my third stay, and the staff have been excellent and attentive every time. The rooms are comfortable and the value is great. You're right next to the terminal, with a regular free shuttle there. The one downside is there's no minibar in the room, so you have to buy drinking water downstairs.
I thought staying near the airport would be convenient, but the shuttle driver tried to scam me out of 200.000 pesos. At the hotel, they offered early check-in for an extra 55 dollars. The room was dirty and not what I expected, and there was even a dead roach in it. The walls are paper-thin too. I could hear the girl next door receiving guests all day. Definitely wouldn't stay in this sketchy place.
I've stayed here several times and had mixed experiences, but this one was poor. Definitely not a 5-star hotel, not even close, maybe 3 stars. They strictly enforced the 3-pm check-in because I'd booked through a third party, even though it was 1:30 and everyone else was checking in. They wanted another $40 for checking in an hour and a half early. I declined, so I used the time to write this review.
It's a great hotel near the airport. Avitta spa is excellent, and Nicole is a great massage therapist.
