The staff were really kind, and the location was good. Breakfast was good too, and there's an inexpensive laundry service inside. But the hostel was disappointing. The rooms are below ground, damp-smelling, and not clean. There were lots of hairs left on the sheet, a dead cockroach on the floor, and the room was cold. The covers smelled bad as well. You have to walk through a restaurant to get into the hostel. We paid 200k for two nights for three people. They really need to clean the place better.

We booked at the last minute after our previous hostel couldn't provide the accommodation we'd ordered, and we didn't regret switching. The triple room cost 11k COP and came with a small breakfast. The room was small but clean, though a bit cold, and there were no extra linens in it. Maybe reception could provide some. The main door stayed closed, which seems normal here.

If you're expecting a hostel, you'll probably be happy with it. I booked through a website that advertised things like 24-hour reception, but this is a hostel, not a hotel. I got there after midnight and spent a few tense moments outside on the street. Then a staff member checked me in, whispering in the nearly dark.
