Hotel Sexta Avenida

The rooms were clean and nice, and there was parking available. I had a very pleasant stay.

It was windy.

The location is central, parking is included, and the service is good. I’ve stayed twice. On the first visit, the hot water in my assigned room didn’t work at all and the TV remote was useless. The next time, the room cleaning was extremely poor, though I won’t get into the unpleasant details. It’s okay for a night or two, but less suited to a longer stay.

I’m posting this because I hope management will review its procedures and keep this from happening again. In the hotel’s shared parking area today, an unleashed dog suddenly lunged at my pet for no reason. Thankfully nobody was hurt, but it was a dangerous situation that could have ended badly. Places hosting guests and visitors should have basic controls for pets in shared areas. Incidents like this affect the safety of everyone using the property.
