We only stopped in for lunch, and the meal was delicious and very reasonably priced. The gardens are part of the hotel, so birds, including lovely hummingbirds, come remarkably close to the tables. I’d happily give this place a thumbs up.

There's a botanical trail behind the hotel, open until 18:00. The views are gorgeous, though the steep path might get slippery in the rain. Breakfast runs from 7:00 to 9:00, and room service was very good. The employees were kind, and the hotel itself is beautiful and quiet. Since there's only a road nearby and not much else, get essentials like water before you arrive.

Our group of 13 had a pretty good lunch, and the server was really nice. The place itself is lovely, which makes the experience more frustrating. My cheeseburger was raw in the middle, and I only noticed after taking a few bites. I asked them to cook it longer, but what came back was a piece of charcoal. They wouldn't remove it from the bill because I'd eaten nearly half. It was only $28k pesos, but they lost me as a customer. I won't be back. They need to understand how much being customer-focused matters.
