El Castillo de Azucar IV

After feeling out of place in regular hostels, I booked Roger's house and was glad I did. As a solo traveler, I found it easy to make friends with the other guests. I enjoyed talking with Roger and going for walks with him, and sometimes sharing a meal. The bedrooms were quiet and comfortable. I could wash my clothes, do yoga, and get a little work done online. Restaurants, bars, and salsa schools are all easy to walk to. I stayed a week and will likely come back for another week or two. Highly recommend!

Roger, the owner, is kind and really helpful. He sent plenty of recommendations and is always happy to chat or lend a hand. The place is extremely clean and feels very safe, with a great kitchen, hot showers, private rooms with air conditioning and TV, storage, and safe, comfy beds and pillows. The location is great too, close to really good restaurants and cafes, the park, and more. I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Roger is lovely, helpful, and knows a lot about the region, things to do, and places for dancing. The place is clean and has all the necessary amenities, including a well-equipped kitchen. It's in popular San Antonio, with a beautiful view of the city.

The owner was extremely welcoming and very nice. He even gave us excellent recommendations for San Agustín. The place was beautiful and clean, with more than enough in the way of amenities, including the kitchen and toilet. In San Antonio, it was about 10-15 minutes on foot to either the city center or El Peñón park. One of the best places we stayed during our month traveling around Colombia, and very good value for the price.
