Hilton Garden Inn Cali Ciudad Jardin

When I checked out after a recent stay, I found that someone had entered my room while I was away, gone through my suitcase, and opened a box inside it. They opened it from the wrong end and couldn’t close it because the original purchase tape was still intact. I hadn’t opened it. I’m a lifetime diamond and stay in hotels often, so I had proof of what happened. I asked to speak with a manager at checkout, but was told none was available. I waited to show my proof, but no one became available. I contacted Hilton after returning to the states. They said that because I was outside the country, they could only forward my complaint to the property’s management. A few days later, Mr. Hernandez Romero contacted me. I explained what happened and said I had proof, but the response was that their investigation completely cleared the property and found that nothing happened. I travel abroad a lot, and this is the first time I’ve felt I was treated a certain way because I’m a foreigner. Neither Hilton US nor the property’s management seemed at all interested in looking at the proof I offered. It was very disappointing, and a huge departure from all my previous experiences at this property, which I absolutely love visiting when I’m in Cali.

There are 3 restaurants at this hotel, and they share staff. The employees are attentive and responsive, and seem to remember what you like because they keep surprising you. Excellent customer service, and a great place to make memories.

There’s a shopping center called Jardin plaza, a supermarket called Jumbo, a pharmacy, and almost anything else you might need within walking distance. The property also has a WhatsApp number to help plan your stay. The breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit and juices, and the staff were friendly and accommodating from check in through check out. I picked Cali for my "very first time" in Colombia and found it an amazing place. They didn’t have the small face towels we use in the states, but I found some at a nearby dollar type store. You won’t regret staying here.

The Garden Inn in Cali is our go to hotel whenever we travel to Cali. The food and service are amazing, the location is great, and the rooftop bar has beautiful 360 views of Cali.
