The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was good. The hotel is small, and while the rooms were clean, they had very little furniture. Prices are reasonable outside peak season but jump during major international events. I ate dinner there twice and both experiences were abysmal, so avoid eating there if you can.

The staff are fantastic, the beds are comfortable, and it’s very good value for money. It’s an inexpensive stay within an easy walk of Su Papa supermarket and the restaurants on Carrera 66. The bathroom has nowhere to set toiletries, and the rooms lack tables and chairs for eating or working, which is why I wouldn’t give it five stars. Breakfast costs CO25,000 extra and is excellent. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner, but service is very slow and wine choices are limited. The attached pizzeria, which is separate from the hotel, provides better service.

Breakfast was good, but I had a terrible stay. Street noise kept me up, and the walls seemed flimsy enough that I could hear people in neighboring rooms. Just as I was starting to fall asleep, a dog began barking. Being pet friendly is good, but if an owner leaves a dog locked up and barking all morning, it’s frustrating. If you wake easily, this place isn’t for you. The website photos appealed to me, but paying a little more for a hotel where you can rest would be worth it. I’m never coming back.
