The woman working there was great and very helpful, but the owner or manager had no idea what good service means. When I complained, he just told me to leave. The place itself is okay, though you can find better for the price. I used their laundry service and got my clothes back with some pieces dirtier than before, and they ruined my shirt. They charged 2,500 for every item, including socks and underwear, for a total of 80,000, more than double the cost of a night's stay. After three weeks in Colombia, I know other places typically charge 3,000 per item and don't charge for socks or underwear. Be careful with this service. I felt they were taking advantage of me, even if they weren't literally robbing me.

My room had lots of mosquitoes and dampness. The only thing they kept asking me about was payment, although other hotels charge when you check out. I also couldn't get basic local information: when I asked about a D1 supermarket, they said they didn't know, even though one is three blocks away. They couldn't suggest places to eat either, despite a park full of restaurants just one block away. Sandwiches, arepas, and fruit were advertised in the rooms, but that service wasn't available when I asked.
The location is convenient, especially for university students who have occasional academic meetings, and the daily rate is affordable. Bathrooms are spacious, with hot water. Rooms have air conditioning for an extra charge, but they smell musty and the furniture seems somewhat neglected.
It's an old hostel, and the facilities feel neglected. There was dust in the rooms and water leaking through the ceilings and walls. They should put money into better sheets, pillows, and towels.
The neighborhood was very quiet, with supermarkets, nightclubs, and plenty of places to eat just a few blocks away. The gentleman and young woman who helped us were professional, and the place felt welcoming and very clean, with a nice smell. Our room had air conditioning, a TV in good condition, clean towels, and good WiFi. Check-in and checkout times were very flexible.
