We loved spending time on the rooftop, with its pool, open space for relaxing and eating, and views all around. It was really well done. The hotel sits in the middle of everything, yet feels like a quiet refuge once you're inside, away from busy Centro. Our room had high ceilings, lovely details, and a very comfortable bed. We booked at the last minute for two nights and were so glad we did. Everyone was fantastic and well organized, especially Veronica, who was so helpful. The hotel was also quick to reply over WhatsApp. Highly recommend it, though we were sad to leave!

Claudia helped us throughout the stay, finding things for us and suggesting places to go. Veronica was kind and helpful too. The staff made us feel welcome right away, and that fresh juice was amazing. The property is stunning, clean, and perfectly located. I felt my body relax as soon as we arrived. We'd stay here again if we return to Cartagena.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully kept, and the facilities were clean and well organized. We loved the varied, delicious breakfast and the convenient location for getting around and enjoying nearby places. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. The service and attention to detail were wonderful throughout. We'd definitely come back and recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay.

The Amarlo is so well placed for walking around the city, and we loved our stay. Inside, the air conditioning was wonderfully cold, the beds were snug, and the room felt comforting. The staff were welcoming and always keen to help with anything we needed or with suggestions. Walking in felt like stepping back in time!

The furniture is old but full of character, and the hotel has a quaint feel. The AC worked really well, as did the shower. Breakfast was generous and very good. Service was excellent. The staff were very attentive and carried our bags up the steep stairs. Special thanks to Dorian, who looked after us after bad weather cancelled our Rosario Islands trip.
