The rooms were crawling with cockroaches, including in the fridge and all over the beds. The sheets had holes, there was no hot water, and the shower head kept falling off. When the A/C ran, it sounded like a jet engine. Absolutely awful. I told reception about the infestation and got a blank stare. After an uncomfortable pause, the receptionist suggested I buy bug spray at a local grocery store. HUH!?!? The agency will take your money, then say you're lying about the conditions. Don't book here or through them. There are much better places to stay in Cartagena. Avoid it if you care about sleep and cleanliness.

There's plenty of food businesses around, and the location is pretty good: the beach is across the street and a lagoon is behind the property. But the place is badly maintained. Water leaks onto the bathroom floor whenever you shower, the A/C units don't work at full capacity, and cockroaches are everywhere, so you have to spray them whenever you go out. It's a shame, since the buildings have potential. Poor management will bring the place down if nothing changes soon.

It's a safe spot close to everything, with dining and a mini market nearby. Great location, and most condos have either an ocean view or a view of the little lake.
