Julio’s place, Apt. 303, is right in the middle of Cartagena’s walled City and has a pool plus a rooftop jacuzzi overlooking the Cathedral. We had AC, hot showers, and WIFI, and Julio left drinks for guests. The doormen, Humberto, Richard, and David, were really sweet and helpful, even though they don’t speak much English. I’d stay here again without hesitation if I return to Cartagena. Thanks, Julio!

I booked Apartment 306 through Booking.com. It’s roomy and well presented, with a street view, and would work well for a family. The two bathrooms were great, the kitchen was fully equipped, and I enjoyed the decorating books. There’s some music and noise at night, which is normal in Cartagena’s lively historic center. The building also has a lovely rooftop terrace, and the staff are friendly. Payment was offered through a link or in cash. It would be better if payment could be made directly through the website. Apartment 207 was incredible. It’s spacious, newly remodeled, and smells wonderful. The master bedroom has a queen bed, desk, fans, air conditioning, private bathroom, and closet. The second bedroom has a single bed and a bunk bed, with a double bed below and a single above. There’s also a very comfortable sofa, a large TV, a kitchen, refrigerator, oven, washer, and dryer. It felt like a palace and would be perfect for a family trip. The building is in the heart of Cartagena’s historic center, which I found to be the safest and most beautiful area. The first floor has a pool, and the terrace has a jacuzzi and a stunning view for watching the sunset. 100 out of 10.

This is a classic Cartagena building with a pool on the first floor and a spectacular terrace with a Jacuzzi. The views over the historic center are stunning.
