Santiago gave us five-star service, and we were very happy with our stay. We’ve also been to Almirante, but Blue Concept was much better. A really excellent experience, especially compared with other five-star hotels nearby.

We got breakfast, a king-size bed, and an extra bed at Blue Concept. We stayed here for one night and spent two at Almirante, which cost twice as much, yet we liked Blue Concept far more.

The location was great, the staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious, and the pool was nice. Mornings were noisy since the rooms don't block sound at all. Our first room, 101, was a complete disaster, but the staff were kind and helpful when we spoke to them, and they moved us to a much better room so we could enjoy the stay. Still, it doesn't seem right to keep a room in such poor condition in an otherwise very nice hotel.

Breakfast was good, and you can pick what you want from a menu. The room was clean, spacious, and had a good shower. It was much bigger than the room we had here a few years ago. The location is pretty good too, close to restaurants.

The breakfast was decent, though nothing special, and the breakfast staff seemed grumpy. The hotel feels past its best and costs quite a bit, even allowing for Cartagena prices. Internet only worked decently in the lobby. There was no usable connection in the rooms or by the pool, despite what the booking platforms say. I wouldn't stay here again.
