For a few nights, the hostel has all the basics and is in a good location, with great value for the price. The WiFi is terrible, and a streetlight directly outside our window sometimes made it hard to sleep. The shared bathroom ran out of toilet paper so often that we had to buy our own.

Getsemani is a great base for walking everywhere, and I found it much more peaceful and welcoming than the rest of the historic center. Excellent place for the price, with an amazing location.

Very clean, and the people were friendly and helpful. There is WiFi, though it doesn’t connect to the internet 😉

We had to wait quite a while for someone to let us in when we arrived. Ring the bell several times, and call ahead to tell them when you’ll get there. The shared bathroom was tiny and not very clean, and our room had no real window, only a porthole that couldn’t open. It’s a small hotel in a good location, charming outside and less so indoors. It could work if you just need somewhere to sleep near the center.
