Casa Logos Comfort Stay

The location was good for the price, and breakfast was cooked by a lovely woman. The choices were limited to arepas, toast, pancakes, or eggs with ham, cheese, tomatoes, and onions. There was a coffee maker, but breakfast couldn’t be taken to go. I wouldn’t recommend the hotel, and it doesn’t feel like four-star accommodation. There are only three small rooms, reached by a narrow spiral staircase. The rooms aren’t soundproof, so street noise carries at all times. When it rained, the ceiling leaked onto us while we slept, and the WiFi stopped working for half our stay. It happened right after check-in, but we weren’t given a refund when we asked so we could move hotels. The shower drain was also blocked, leaving us standing in pooled water.

With only three rooms, the place never feels crowded, and the staff are attentive and very friendly. It’s a good value right in the heart of Getsemani. The neighborhood gets noisy, so expect music late at night. We’d definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Cartagena.

The staff were exceptionally kind, and you can walk to everything in the old city from this hotel in the colonial center. The houses here, including the hotel, sit close together, and nightlife goes on into the early morning. Music from nearby places can carry into some rooms, which may bother some guests.

Breakfast is simple, fresh, healthy, and filling, and Xiomara, the cook, is the sweetest. I’d pay for it, it’s absolutely worth it. We also loved the rooftop jacuzzi, where we’d bring a bottle of wine and relax under the stars with the street music in the background. The rooms are small, but that didn’t bother us, and everything was very clean with funky, cute decor. The space itself is beautiful, and the staff at Casa Logos were so friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The location is perfect, beside a central plaza in the historic center, with restaurants, bars, shops, and convenience stores nearby. We could walk just about anywhere in ten minutes.
