The lively church square next door was lovely at all hours, and Getsemani felt less touristy and more authentic while still being within walking distance of the historic center. The guesthouse itself is charming, with a spacious room, a good AC, and a fridge. The terrace pool is wonderfully cozy and a great way to cool off. Marta was warm and easy to communicate with, even though my Spanish is very basic. Breakfast was simple but tasty, an empanada, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice, enough to get the day started. We had a great experience!

I stayed with my family last christmas, and Marta made us feel right at home. She’s a wonderful host, with amazing cooking and hospitality. Casa Marta is a great place to stay, and its location lets you experience the beautiful old town of Cartagena. Thank you, Marta, for such a lovely visit!

Marta and everyone at the house were so kind and helpful. This was our best Airbnb experience in Cartagena. The house has an indoor swimming pool, which is great in Cartagena’s always hot weather.

The spot next to La Trinidad gets noisy, and you notice strong street food smells around there. Getsemani itself is a lovely neighborhood, and the house is spectacular.
