We booked this hotel at short notice after not liking where we’d been staying, and this one was so much better. It felt safe, with a 24-hour reception, and they offer free drinking water on the ground floor. The room was a good size for two, clean and nice, with a cute little balcony. There’s a rooftop bar next door. We heard its music loudly one night, but it was turned down after 11 pm and we could sleep. The staff were really nice and helpful, and they offered laundry service. Breakfast was included, nothing special but alright. A few more choices would be nice. It’s an affordable, safe hotel in Cartagena, and I’d recommend it and book again.

Eliana at the front desk was incredibly sweet and helped me out as a tourist who doesn’t speak Spanish. The rooms are fairly basic, but they have AC. The courtyard is beautiful, and from the rooftop pool you can see the fortress and the tower. It’s a cute hotel right in the middle of everything!

Our family room was spacious, with good beds and a great warm shower. The staff were friendly and willing to help. They barely speak English, but they do try. The location is ideal, just one street away from barrio Getsemani and an easy walk to the historic center. We had a wonderful stay and thought it was very good value for money.

The main downside was no hot water in the bathroom, though that’s typical of many budget hotels in the area. The rooms were simple but clean, and the room AC worked well. Since the hotel is open in layout, there’s no AC in the lobby areas, but the hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast was cooked to order from a set menu of five choices, and the Wi-Fi worked decently. Good location, good value and friendly service.
