Apartment 1214 had a nice balcony and view, good water pressure, and strong air conditioning in the bedroom. The power for the lights and AC is tied to the key, so everything shuts off when you leave. We found dishes and plates, but no soap to wash them, and the coffee maker had no filter. There were no towels or toiletries. We expected the toiletries to be missing, but hadn't expected the towels to be gone, so we were glad we'd brought our own. A great coffee shop is just across the street, and there are several inexpensive restaurants nearby. The building is older, but close to the beach, and the price was good at $230 for five days. It felt like we got what we paid for. One charge hadn't been mentioned: 35mil ($8.50) for the plastic wristbands needed to enter. There are two pools plus a kids' section, with plenty of seating and a snack bar. The water was cool and refreshing. You need a swim cap for the pool, or pay 5 mil to use one if you don't bring your own.

I stayed in apartment 909. The elevators were slow and in poor condition, and the building itself is very old, with most apartments in bad shape. I didn't try the pool or any other amenities. I'd only stay here if it fits your budget. Spend a few more dollars and you can find a much better place nearby.

The location is convenient for shops and beaches, and having a washing machine was a real plus. The apartment itself was just okay. There was no hot water for showers, but I got used to the tap water temperature. What bothered me most was finding $500 USD missing from my bag in the unit. We asked to see the security footage because we wanted to check for unauthorized entry, but more than seven days later it still hadn't been provided. I don't know how the money disappeared. I might stay here again, but I definitely wouldn't leave cash in the apartment.

The reception and building are decent, and there are lots of stores nearby. The apartment has a great view, but that's where the good parts stop. It's old and run down, the floor was caving in, and there was no hot water. They took the money before we could see the apartment. Avoid this place and go somewhere else.
