Eurostars Marqués de Villalta

The room was a decent size, but there’s no fitness center and the pool bar has a limited selection. Luz at reception was incredibly friendly and very efficient.

The location is excellent, right in the centro historico, with important sights just a few minutes away on foot and some good restaurants nearby. My room was roomy and clean, with a nice view of the lush verandah and greenery. The hotel is part of a chain, but it has a pleasant boutique Mediterranean feel. Check-in was quick and easy. Breakfast could use more variety, though the made-to-order waffles, pancakes, and eggs helped make up for it. The air conditioning in one room wasn’t working, so they quickly moved us to another available room with little fuss. I’d recommend it.

The hotel was quiet at night, with no bar or club on site. It’s close enough to the tourist areas without being right in them, and the location worked out really well for us. The pool is on the small side but comfortable, with sunshine all day for tanning. Staff were wonderful and accommodating. I’ve never been spoiled so much by hotel staff. Breakfast was delicious and came out fast every time, and the room was always clean and sparkling. The bathroom and shower were beautiful and spotless. I’d definitely come back.

Luz at the front desk saved my trip when I woke up late for my excursion and still managed to get me there. Sorry if I pronounced your name wrong! Christian, another front desk worker, was relaxed and friendly too. The manager was also amazing and welcoming to me and my brothers on our first trip to Colombia. I can’t remember her name, but she was a beautiful young woman with glasses. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping was amazing. I also liked that visitors who weren’t staying at the hotel had to show ID. I had an amazing stay at Eurostars Mary's de Villalta, would absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone traveling.
