We stayed in private room #8, and the service was excellent. The staff were really helpful, and breakfast was included. At 140k pesos a night during the “holidays” from 3 to 7 January, it was a great price compared with other hotels. Being on the second floor kept things quiet, while the first floor might be noisy because of the disco on that same floor. The one issue was the air conditioning: it kept running at full power even when we set it to 25°C, so our nights were chilly.

The location is hard to beat, and reception was super nice. Each private room has a bed for every person, and the rooms are quiet and air-conditioned.

The apartment was cute and the location really good, but that long check-in and the rude front desk guy spoiled it for me. We booked a private room on Airbnb, which I take seriously. After letting us into the room, he came back while I was getting out of the shower still wrapped in towels and had us count every single thing in the apartment, spoons, plates, cups, all of it, then sign a form saying we weren't stealing anything. It was annoying and took ages when we just wanted to relax in a place we were paying for. This was our last night in Colombia, and no hotel, hostel, or Airbnb had ever made me do that before, despite how much I travel. Airbnb also seemed a little overpriced compared with what I'm seeing elsewhere.

It's very central, and you can walk to getsemani. The place is simple but clean, breakfast is included, and the staff are kind. It's not a party hostel.
