It was just okay and served its purpose, with everything close by, but it could have been much better. The upstairs bedroom bathroom had no hot water, and I challenge anyone to use the hot tub. The walls and light switches were dirty, some sheets were stained, and there were no face towels.

The rooms have been renovated and the staff were attentive. The location is convenient, though there's a school across the street and it gets noisy in the mornings. Our room was small, fine for sleeping and showering, but not somewhere to spend much time.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our room was small but very clean and modern. Casa Serrezuelle is ideally located in the heart of the old town for exploring Cartagena, and we had a very pleasant stay.

Our room was number 1, right by the kitchen, so we could hear breakfast being prepared and the doorbell. The continental breakfast felt a little unusual to me because we weren't serving ourselves. It's a small hotel with only five rooms, but the location inside the walls is excellent.
