In the evening, the area really comes alive. There are street performers, music, and people enjoying themselves, with a friendly, energetic atmosphere. It's a nice place to relax, try some street food, and get a feel for local culture. I felt safe walking around, and it's well worth a visit if you're in Cartagena.

The plaza feels like a welcoming meeting spot for locals and tourists, with lots of ways to enjoy Cartagena's vibrant culture. You can dance, get drinks, or eat, and there's always plenty to see, even at midnight or 2am. I felt right at home and immersed in the culture whenever we walked by or spent time there. Cabs are easy to find, and vendors sell fresh local fruit and drinks. I can't upload videos for some reason, or I'd share more for you all to see. Can't wait to visit again. 10/10.

Coming here and joining the vibe is one of my favorite things to do in Cartagena. Some nights have more going on than others, but there's always someone to meet and have a drink with. Even the salespeople seem more relaxed here than elsewhere. Locals have even given me Colombia wristbands and beers for free, go figure.

Getsemani can be loud, hot, frenetic, and right in your face, but it's charmingly colonial and right in the middle of everything. It speaks for itself. A must to visit, and stay in, when you're in this fascinating, multifaceted city.
