The reception and laundry staff were really helpful and spoke English, which was a plus. The rooms could use some work, though. The windows were very difficult to open, and there were stains on the bed linen.

The staff were lovely and attentive, but the room made it hard to sleep. Light poured in from the corridor because the door didn't shut properly, and the curtains were so see-through they barely helped. The bed was really uncomfortable too. I only stayed one night.

My flight delays cost me a booking in the centro area, and I had no reservation here. The hotel kindly found me a room for the whole week anyway. I'm very grateful for how accommodating they were.

The staff were wonderful, especially Jonathan and Manuel, who went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is also good value and close to Cartagena's main attractions. The building and facilities could use a bit of improvement.

Breakfast is included, and the price and location work well if you're on a budget. It's about a minute's walk from the main tourist area of the walled city. The place is small and basic but functional, roughly like a 2-star hotel in Europe or the US.
