It took some effort for the taxi driver to find the place. The manager was kind and accommodating, even when we had to wake him around midnight after my flight landed. I would have liked the WiFi code when we arrived instead of the next morning. Ask for it if you need it.

The hostel has a kitchen, breakfast is included, and there are lots of little shops close by if you want to cook. Our room was spacious, spotless, and had air conditioning, and it was easy to communicate with the owner. This was one of the best places we stayed in Cartagena. For a room under 20$, especially if you want to be near the airport, it’s a good value. The downside is the 10/15min drive to the center, though colectivos (shared taxis) run there all day from here for 2000pesos.

It’s a long way from everything. Uber drivers cancel because they’d rather take the airport rides nearby.
