Terrazas Hotel

The main problem was the noise at night. Depending on where your room is, loud, bass-heavy music can carry on until 2 or 3 AM. We lost a lot of sleep over several nights and couldn’t properly rest. That was a shame because we really liked the hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely decorated, the breakfast was good quality, and all the workers were kind and hardworking. I wanted to give it five stars.

The view from our room was beautiful, and the front desk and security team were excellent. We also appreciated the clean hotel, the room layout, the coffee machine, and especially the bidets. We stayed at a few places in Cartagena, but this one stood out. I’d book it again if I return.

The building’s mixed commercial use means it may not look like a hotel when you first arrive, though there is security downstairs. We had a lovely view, and rooms facing the old city seem to have an even better one. The rooms are tastefully designed, and breakfast was nice. I was a little wary because there weren’t many reviews, but we gave it a try and were glad we did. Service was excellent and the staff very helpful. You’re right by both the old city and Getsmani. I’d recommend it, and would pick it over a beachfront hotel.

Modern, spacious, clean, and safe, with really friendly staff and a very nice breakfast. It’s an incredible place for the price, in a great spot in Cartagena. Just book it, you won’t regret it.
