Check-in was quick, the staff were polite and helpful, and it was a very safe place. The apartment was almost spotless, with clean towels. Breakfast was OK, the A/C was freezing cold, and the hot water was OK too. Pets are allowed for a nightly fee. It's a five-minute walk to a beach that isn't too crowded, and there's a nice view of the port. A good place, recommended.

We enjoyed our stay, but the key arrangement was a hassle. They wouldn't let us leave the A/C on, and instead of giving us another key, they said we'd have to go to reception and have someone come up to open the door. At 3 a.m. we got back while some of our group were asleep, and didn't want to wake them. They could offer a second or third key for a small fee and explain the cost upfront. That could cover the day's A/C costs and make things easier for everyone.

We waited 20 minutes to speak with staff about check-in. Once we got into the apartment, one bedroom was under construction and inaccessible, and the bathroom was also under construction and locked. The A/C and refrigerator didn't work, and there was no hot water. Staff didn't seem to care about any of it. The next day, they made me check out earlier than the contracted time.

The location made the stay worthwhile. Two blocks away was, to me, the most beautiful beach we saw in Cartagena, with calm water and perfect waves like a swimming pool. On the other side, there's a boardwalk with lovely views. We rented three apartments. One was quite nice, though one room smelled strongly of damp. The other two were small and also smelled damp.
