Zana Hotel Boutique

The room was the best part, spacious, comfortable, clean, with hot water and good A/C. The location was also really good, close to everything, and quieter than I expected. I was only there for one night, returning from Santa Marta and obviously very tired. The front desk woman, whose name I've unfortunately forgotten, kindly moved my friend and me to a room with a larger bed, which made my day. The breakfast area on the third floor was extremely hot and uncomfortable, with no fans. The jacuzzi was dirty too. We didn't have time to use it, but it would be nice if it were kept clean for other guests.

The rooftop breakfast space was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly accommodating when serving us. The room itself was simple, clean, and cool. The location was superb, right in the middle of the most colorful and interesting neighborhood. The shower was a disaster. I could never get a comfortable temperature using the slide switch for the hot water heater, just freezing or scalding, and the pressure was so low that washing my hair was almost impossible. The rooftop spa was closed and dirty, needing a clean, so don't count on using it.

We found this to be good value for money. The hotel is in a good spot in getsemani, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, and it's about 10-15 minutes from the center. Service was very friendly, and the hostess helped us arrange day tours. Our room was on the small side, and the shower was very basic. Breakfast was good and served on the rooftop, though it took a while each morning because they make it fresh.

Breakfast was really tasty, and the staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and reasonably comfortable. Mine was an interior room with no window, which gave it a slight prison-cell feel, though a nice one, and it ultimately didn't bother me. It's an adequate place to stay, with nothing fancy or luxurious, but I think they deliver fairly for the price.
