Bellavista Hotel

The massage services on site were outstanding. We also really appreciated how helpful and accommodating the hosts were, and the staff were friendly. The place has lovely views, clean, stylish facilities, and the food was presented beautifully and creatively.

The food was tasty and reasonably priced, and the staff were very helpful with local suggestions. They even arranged a cab for us to see Colombia’s highest waterfall, La Chorrera. The hotel felt safe, had wonderful views, and was well placed for visiting the thermal baths in Choachi. I’d absolutely recommend it.

The included breakfast was a letdown: there was only one option, and once it had sold out, they replaced it with something much worse. The rooms are spacious, but the bed is barely a small double, the toilet is incomplete, and there’s no hot water. WiFi is very poor, and people were allowed to party until 2am, which meant lots of noise in a rural place where you come to rest. Way too expensive for such terrible service.

The view and the pool were the highlights, and the breakfast was delicious. We walked in from town, and Santa Monica Hot Springs is only an 8-minute walk from the hotel. The service was very good and everything was superbly clean. Highly recommend it!
