The mountain setting makes this an unmatched place to stay, about an hour and a half from La Candelaria, downtown Bogotá D.C. It’s an unexpected source of life and a refuge in nature, spreading a love for the surroundings. Certified mountain guides host here, and as local experts they know the area well and have built trails and routes for mountain bikers. If you’re escaping for a few days, do it at Explora....

Staying with Claudia and David was really enjoyable. It felt like a homestay, with plenty of privacy and a nice outdoor space. We also had some delicious home-cooked meals.

David and Claudia are two wonderful people who did everything they could to make our stay what we wanted. The whole experience felt like a hug to the soul, and you can see how much love went into every little detail. It’s a beautiful place to be surrounded by nature and lovely views, with waterfalls not too far away. Truly amazing, thank you both!

The scenery is beautiful, with cozy rooms and spaces where you can unwind. Breakfast and morning coffee were lovely, and there was clean drinking water.
