Rio celeste poshtel Tayrona

We saw more birds and other animals on the hotel grounds than during our six hours inside Tayrona Park. It's a small boutique hotel on a big property, with beautiful grounds and a lovely room. The bed was so comfortable, the best sleep we'd had in a while, and the air conditioning was nice and cold for sleeping. Michelle, our host, made the whole experience exceptional. Rio Celeste was wonderful!! Highly, highly recommend.

There was wildlife right outside, and the hotel is on a bus route. The room was clean and comfortable, with great service.

The grounds have plenty to enjoy, from the petting zoo and riverbank walks or wading to relaxing by the pool in the tropical setting. The staff were incredibly friendly and looked after our comfort throughout. We had a wonderful time at the Río Celeste Tayrona, nestled in nature near Tayrona National Park. I did have two complaints. The rooms are sparsely furnished and, above all, there's no television. Also, the hotel is far from shops, restaurants, and pharmacies. The nearest places require a car, since they're not within walking distance. You can get snacks at the hotel during the week, and lunch at the restaurant on weekends. Those drawbacks bring it to four stars for me, though I enjoyed the stay and can recommend it to nature-loving visitors.

The peaceful setting inside the Pony Club made for a really relaxing stay, with an outdoor room and comfortable hammocks. The room was private, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning, clean towels and clothes in good condition, and no dust. Each room has its own bathroom and shower. It's easy to reach and close to Tayrona Park, with a country feel. Service from everyone at the hotel was excellent, both face to face and through WhatsApp. They can also arrange vehicle transfers when you need them. Recommended.
