The food was the one good part: plenty of choice, and it was delicious. The rest was awful, especially the service from one receptionist. Our room reeked of damp, then the sewage smell became unbearable early in the morning. I had to block the shower drain with the bathroom bin and put a towel in the sink to keep the smell down. The mosquitoes were unbelievable, worse inside than outside. There seemed to be no pest control. I asked twice to move rooms and had to file a complaint before they fumigated. Be careful around the pool too. It didn’t meet quality standards, and some parts had sharp edges and rusty wires along them. The backrest facing the street was held up by very unsafe drywall. The event hall was just a converted room, with a ceiling that was coming down and leaks. The air conditioning barely worked, so it was unbearably hot inside. For what they charge, I thought the hotel was very bad. They could at least try to keep it cleaner.

The location is perfect and the food is really good, but the place is very old and needs renovating. There isn’t even a drawer in the rooms for storing clothes or other things. They should improve that.

The sea is really nice and clean in this area, and the new boardwalk starts right there. The hotel is well located, with a beautiful beach directly across the street.

The lunches were reasonably priced, and the food was delicious. The hotel staff were very friendly, especially Maria, who paid attention and took care of what I needed. The beds were comfortable and the room was too, though the bathroom door could be better and there should be more ventilation for drying clothes. We only had a few mosquitoes on arrival. I asked them to fumigate the room, and that solved the problem for the rest of my stay.
