Hotel Real Pico Victoria

The photos and website promotion give a misleading impression. Everything is broken or worn out, and the place badly needs maintenance. The TV only showed lines and static. They moved me to another room, but it wasn't much better. The price doesn't match the quality at all. They shouldn't be allowed to operate like this, and Booking.com shouldn't list it unless perhaps it's offered at half price. I'll find out tomorrow how the breakfast is.

I liked the American breakfast included in the room price, and the rooms were comfortable. It's close to the center and reasonably priced. I'll come back.

The staff were very attentive, and the service was excellent. Good location and a delicious breakfast too.

The receptionist's service was the worst part. My group had almost 40 people traveling by bus, but only one car. Even though the hotel had an agreement with a parking garage, they made us pay for parking and called me every hour to say I couldn't leave without paying. Yet nobody called to bring the towels they'd forgotten in my room. We also needed a room for a brief 45-minute meeting. They put us in a dreadful space by the kitchen pots, where it smelled of onions and garlic. When we asked to borrow a room for a short time, they charged us for it. I felt slighted and neglected. There were 40 of us and we deserved much better treatment. This isn't a 4-star hotel. The rooms are spacious but poorly maintained: our toilet cistern was broken, the bath mat was old, and the shower curtain was torn, so the bathroom turned into a swimming pool. Breakfast was poor and limited.
