The staff were helpful every step of the way, both in person and on WhatsApp. We enjoyed the meals, though dinner at the restaurant is on the expensive side, and breakfast was delicious. The weather wasn’t inspiring during our visit, but the lake views were excellent. Our cabin was a little rustic yet very comfortable. We liked spending time around the grounds and relaxing in the hot tub. The gas fires on the veranda are a great idea. At 6am, a neighbour’s gardener woke us by cutting the grass. That wasn’t ideal, and the staff were very sorry, though there wasn’t realistically anything they could do.

I rarely leave reviews, but the views from every cabin are truly breathtaking. The spot is unique and well placed, and it’s a peaceful escape tucked away from things while still having everything you need. The staff are exceptionally welcoming, the facilities and service are great, and the food is quality. I won’t stay anywhere else in the area.

You could stay on the property the whole time if you wanted. It feels like a breath of fresh air, with privacy, seclusion, great amenities, and lovely views. The service is exceptional, the food is amazing, and it’s affordable too. There’s a private jacuzzi, comfortable beds, and fast room service.

A note about the kitchen: when they call it basic, they mean basic. It’s set up for morning coffee and perhaps snacks like sandwiches or eggs, not for making lunch or dinner. There aren’t big pots or knives, so don’t expect to cook full meals. The service is remarkable, with so much care put into the details. Reception was quick, caring, and thorough with their answers. Breakfast was delicious, and the food looked just like the menu photos. Room service was beautifully arranged on the outside table, almost like restaurant service. Even on a rainy day, when we thought they might not be able to bring it, the quality was just as good.
