We arrived early with our bikes and were welcomed warmly. The building has a lovely traditional feel, and they served us a decent breakfast too.

The downtown location makes it handy for getting around Giron, and the colonial house has a pleasant, quiet feel. Air conditioning was much appreciated in the heat. My room was basic, though, with no rubbish bin and only soap provided. They take cash or local transfers, which may be awkward for travelers from abroad. Breakfast costs extra, about COP$20,000. Being right in the center also means street or nearby business noise may be an issue for light sleepers. A reasonably comfortable, affordable base, as long as you come prepared for the limited amenities and possible noise.
