We came from Canada to visit my son and Colombian daughter-in-law for about a week. Since this place was across the street from her mother’s home and handy for visits, my daughter-in-law’s sister booked eight nights for us, and I paid her back. Within minutes of arriving, we’d killed several bugs. The place felt very substandard, with a hard, poor-quality bed and almost no amenities, so we picked up our bags and left without spending even one of the eight nights. To our dismay, the “hotel” refused to refund any of the payment. Based on our experience, I’d tell people to avoid it unless they enjoy rustic camping. We’d give it 1 out of 10. Bill & Marge

Mr. Nolberto is the best part of the place. He does his best to make you feel well treated. The rooms, though, were nothing like the ads: very dusty and dirty, with insects, and we were even given one that hadn’t been cleaned.

The food was super delicious, and the service was very good. I celebrated my daughter’s First Communion there with a family lunch, and they let me decorate and arrange everything the way I wanted.

They’d be better off not offering this place as an option. The night shift man doesn’t care about the other guests and would rather open the bar to sell drinks and play loud music. They say they’re part of a brand, but it’s just a facade.

It’s extremely far from the city’s tourist areas, and the way they handled our booking was in very poor taste. We had reserved two rooms, but their administration is a mess. When we arrived, they said there was only one reservation, leaving us to sort it out ourselves. While we were still looking for a solution, the person at the entrance was already calling to sell the room that was still reserved for us. From what I’ve read, this keeps happening. If you don’t want strangers staying there, you’d be better off renting it to close friends.
