The highlight was the view over Itagui from our corner room on the top floor, both during the day and at night. Check-in at Ibis Budget Medellin went smoothly. The room had a double bed, cable TV with Claro TV and the same channels as before, plus a clean toilet and standing shower with working hot water. The location is the only good thing. The rooms are super tiny, and the price is way too high for that little space. I wouldn't recommend it to an American.

The room was warm at night, and I couldn't open the window for fresh air. It was clean and well located, but short on space: there wasn't room for a closet or minibar, and keeping everything in my luggage all the time was uncomfortable. Fine for a short stay.

I keep coming back to this hotel when I need to go to Medillen. It’s right beside a huge mall and the metro, so getting around is easy. The staff are great, especially the security guard, who is amazing and so friendly. He recognizes us every time we return, whether it’s been six days or six months. I also like the soup at the breakfast buffet.

Really good. I’d stay here again.
