The setting was magnificent, and the tour felt authentic and down to earth. Over 2.15 hours, we followed the coffee from growing the trees through to the finished product, picking suitable beans ourselves and trying parts of the process that create different aromas. It ended with a tasting. We really recommend it to anyone visiting Antioquia.

The tasting and roasting session was a highlight, with different roast profiles and complex notes to explore in each cup. We also learned about fermentation and drying, and heard how the volcanic soil around Finca la Nohelia affects the harvest's flavor. The tour covers the bean's whole life, from seed germination to the local fauna that helps keep the plants healthy. The staff were kind and enthusiastic, and the experience felt authentic. A great place in Jericó for anyone who wants to understand Colombian coffee and spend time outdoors. 10/10!

We didn't stay at the lodge, just joined Juan's coffee tour, and it was worth every penny. The views were incredible, and the tasting was amazing. I can't wait to try their beans back in America.

Juan made the La Nohelia tour easygoing and welcoming, with a lovely sense of humor and an authentic manner. His English was very good. We headed out with sun hats and baskets to pick red beans from the coffee bushes, and along the way he talked about farming, fruit, herbs, and other plants. We also learned how coffee is processed and met the two gorgeous dogs. The farm is beautiful, with far-reaching views. At the end, Juan prepared a cup of the finest coffee, which was fascinating to watch. I'll take some tips home, along with the small bag I bought from the farm. I enjoyed the tour a great deal.
