Hostal Caño Nevera

Jorge and his son David made this feel like a home, and the price was super affordable. They were friendly and made sure I felt safe, organized my tours of Cristalitos y Cano Cristales, and picked me up from and dropped me off at the airport. They also made homemade breakfast every morning and packed lunch for me. The dogs and cat were very friendly, and kept me company while I relaxed in the hammocks. Each morning at breakfast, a group of monkeys would visit, and I even made friends with them. This is the best hostal I've stayed at. I'd love to come back!

We had a special stay, and the hosts and animals made us feel right at home. They picked us up at the airport and had arranged everything for five days of touring the beautiful area. The hosts were welcoming and easygoing, and five stars hardly feels like enough. Thank you so much.

Paula's food was delicious, and the tours, which Jorge and his son David run themselves, seemed to be the best priced for foreigners. Other places appeared to inflate their prices. Jorge and David built this place with their own hands, and the care they put into it really shows. We felt completely at home. Their four dogs were the sweetest, and even joined us on a long walk to the river. It's a one of a kind place in the nature around the small town of la Macarena. Every now and then you might be greeted by titi monkeys 🐵. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a stay surrounded by nature.

David and Jorge did so much for me, and I really felt at home. They put together lovely personalized tours, since there's a lot to discover and do. The rooms are clean and spacious, with big windows, and the neighborhood is quiet but still close to the center. The atmosphere was very nice, and they have the best barbecue facilities in town. I can recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a stay in Lamacarena, and I'll definitely come back soon. Thanks so much, David and Jorge, for everything. Hasta la Vista!
