We didn't stay at the hotel, but stopped nearby while mountain biking because we were looking for a cafe in the heavy rain. A staff member gave us directions, then noticed we were soaked and invited us inside. She made us two cups of coffee. Such a kind gesture.

The coffee tour was fabulous, and learning how the beans go from the ground to the cup was fascinating. I'll never look at coffee the same way. The farm's deep history is visible all around the property, and Colombia's reputation for coffee makes sense here. Maria, Laura, Carolina, and Teresa were wonderful, and the staff went out of their way to take care of us. The rooms were comfortable and quaint, in a beautiful mountain setting. We did have to take cold showers, though, because for some reason there was no hot water.

The food was great, and the coffee was wonderful. The tasting and learning about different kinds of coffee was excellent. The Zafari ride, though, was pretty boring. All in all, a wonderful experience.

They offer lodging and a coffee tour that's well worth taking. The beautiful hacienda is 150 years old and produces some of the world's finest coffee.

A great way to learn about coffee, especially through tasting and seeing the different varieties growing on the plantation. Beautiful place, awesome experience.
