We arrived within the 5-6 pm window we’d given the hotel, but the place was closed. Management told us to wait about 20 minutes because the person responsible wasn’t there. We stayed for an hour as it got dark and cold, then decided to leave. Only after we’d gone did they call to say that person would be there in another 20 minutes. A really bad experience. They didn’t seem serious about it. Once was enough for me.

It was clean and quiet, though it didn’t seem set up for backpackers. Food choices were limited.

The hotel is in a peaceful spot, and being so close to the cable car made getting around the area easy. I found the rooms clean and comfortable, a good place to unwind after a day out. The staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help from the minute I arrived. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

We went as a family with the kids and our pet, and found the hotel cozy, quiet, and very well cared for. The rooms were clean and kept up nicely. Breakfast was included and delicious. If you’re visiting Chicamocha Canyon National Park, the cable car entrance is only 1 km away. We felt it was safe and would recommend it 100%.
