I spent five months in Colombia and this ended up being one of my favorite cafés and hotels. The staff at Candelaria were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were spacious and tidy, with comfortable beds and clean, roomy bathrooms. From the balconies you get a lovely view over the main square, its church, and the surrounding mountains. You can stay right next to the coffee bar, which serves the best coffee and ice cream dishes. I'd give it more than five stars if I could.

I always make this my favorite stop when I'm in Colombia. Their ice cream is the best, and now that they have a hotel too, I'd definitely recommend it.
