Mr. Ruben Dario and the staff really pampered us. Breakfast was great, and I loved the atmosphere, the pool, and the greenery around the hotel. It’s an excellent boutique hotel, and Mr. Ruben Dario is a wonderful host. Thank you!

The shade and pool were a welcome escape from Mariquita’s hot afternoons, and the surroundings were fairly quiet. Casamarilla also has clean rooms and bathrooms, with affordable meals prepared on site. I was impressed by the facilities and service. You should call ahead, but after a long day riding my bike, the manager let me check in late. As a cyclist, I was glad I could keep my bike in my room, and there are some excellent shops a short ride away. I’ll definitely come back.

The food at Casaamarilla seemed heavenly, and Ruben Dario is a gentleman who makes you feel like family. It’s a wonderful place to escape city noise and stress and settle into a slower, calmer world. I had a wonderful time there!

The green area was spectacular, and the house felt very welcoming, with excellent facilities. Our host was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The pool was clean and lovely to use, and there were shared spaces for reading books or magazines, or just relaxing. The one thing I didn’t like was that food isn’t allowed inside, so you have to go out if you want something to eat.
