Getting to the hotel was the main hassle. The road is awful and unpaved, and you need Waze to find your way there. Still, it’s a cool place. The pool and drinks were good, and Luisa, the waiter, always had a smile. The people were warm and the service was great, though the mosquitoes left me looking like I had chicken pox.

Flamingos and ducks were there among the lovely scenery. The food was good, and the furnishings were nice, if simple.

It’s a hotel, restaurant, and recreation center all together, and a perfect stop while passing through to somewhere else.

There was no hot water, the bed was awful, and at night I could hear lots of rats running around in the roof.

A quiet resort, with good food and fishing.
