4 Sur Hotel

The value was very good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We liked the local feel and wanted to experience life like a local, which this place offered. During our 7-day stay, hot or even warm water was hit and miss, mostly a miss. Our street-side room, number 501, was tight, very noisy, and hot throughout. The AC unit was over the closet, so it didn't circulate the air. The rooms are soundproof, but we still heard guests and kids in the hallway, which was very annoying. Breakfast was okay, nothing to brag about.

Mariana looked after us and went out of her way to help. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the rooms, though small, were nice and clean. Everything was immaculate, from the views and showers to the elevators. The barrio location felt safe, and we went out at night without any problems. The hotel could improve the hot water and offer food at night, since there aren't restaurants nearby.

The rooftop restaurant has a breathtaking view, and the hotel sits in a central, super safe Colombian zone. The breakfast was perfect, with plenty of fruit, juices, and protein to choose from. Staff were genuinely friendly and dedicated, and the rooms are gorgeous. It's brand new, with thoughtful details throughout, built to North American standards. The mattresses, pillows, and sheets are top quality, the bathrooms are spacious, and the latest-generation air conditioning is quiet and efficient. Simply the best boutique hotel in Medellin, the best deal in the city right now. Just wow.

I've never felt so at home in a hotel. The staff were attentive and accommodating, and the rooms and hotel were clean. My friends and I felt safe staying there, and it was very affordable too.
