Air Guest House

We stayed on the front, ground floor, and it could get quite loud. The window was a bit broken, and being right by the street made us wary. The room was clean and generally okay, but breakfast disappointed us. There wasn't much choice, just a bit of cereal and eggs, and the fruit didn't look inviting, so we skipped breakfast several times. The best part of the hostel was the rooftop jacuzzi, though sadly it often took about an hour to warm up. Otherwise, it was an alright stay.

The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The area feels relatively safe, but all the rooms face an internal staircase, so noise depends on your neighbors. Our window was right above reception. Even with it shut and earplugs in, we could hear people in reception and the breakfast area talking as if they were in our room, starting before 7am.

The owner was friendly, and the place was clean and well located for going out in Poblado. Still, it was a bit noisy if you're trying to work, and expensive. The worst part was an unpleasant experience with one receptionist. I had clearly asked the other receptionist the day before for a slightly later checkout, and they agreed. At 11.00 am, the angry receptionist knocked insistently on my door at checkout time. I asked for just five more minutes, and she became very rude and aggressive. I definitely don't recommend it because of this receptionist, and strongly suggest changing this person.

The staff were friendly and always ready to help, and the rooms were decent. The location seems ideal if you want to be near the city's active nightlife. There's also a cool social area with a jacuzzi on the terrace, where I even worked from my laptop. A nice option.
