The city location is very good, and the breakfast service was good too. But it was much too noisy for me, and I didn’t sleep well. You get what you pay for.

The loud noise went on until 3:30 AM, even on weekdays. It’s a low-key budget hotel with straightforward rooms. The hot water was ample, internet fast, the TV large, the rooms newly renovated, and there’s an elevator. When I went downstairs to buy ice cream, the receptionist said I had to pay with exact change because she wouldn’t give any change back.

It’s a decent place for a terrific price, and bars and restaurants are very close. But the noise just doesn’t let up. Even with earplugs I could feel the heavy bass thumping past 3 am, then the hallways were noisy afterward. I left for a quieter place after a few days. Don’t expect people to speak English, though that’s typical throughout Colombia.

The front desk lady was attentive and really helpful, even though I don’t speak much Spanish. It’s in a good location, and I’d stay again if you don’t mind the noise from the bars.
