Bandido Hstl & Drinks - Hostel

The shower in my dorm room had no hot water; the only bathroom with hot water was in the main area, which many people use. I was also charged tax even though I’m a tourist with the stamp showing I’m exempt, and disputing it took a long time. The kitchen could use a refurb, but there’s a fridge and cooler if you want to cook. Breakfast is fried eggs with arepa and coffee. Mornings were confusing because we weren’t sure whether someone would cook or we should do it ourselves. Two of us eventually started making breakfast, then staff began preparing it for everyone else. I got mixed answers about whether laundry was offered, too. WiFi drops at the back, so you need to sit by the kitchen or reception for a signal. Some staff were lovely and helpful, while others seemed unsure about a lot. There’s also an on-site tattoo parlour with some talented tattooists.
