Coming back after a day of exploring felt like coming home, thanks to the kind, accommodating owners and their pets. The private room was a great price, WiFi worked all over the property, and the kitchen storage was well organized. The only downside was having little room to cook anything complicated.

Katalina and Manuel were so hospitable and made my stay feel special. I spent about two weeks at Casa Egos Pop and highly recommend it. The area is beautiful and quiet.

The shower setup was the first problem: it was across a public hallway, so I would have had to walk past reception and other guests in a towel. I asked for a different room, but none was available. The Yellow Room was also dark, with just one small window facing the café, and it sat right by reception and the café, with noise from inside and the busy street outside. I left in under an hour and had to find somewhere else. I booked expecting a calm, quiet place, but the photos and description didn't show how uncomfortable and lacking in privacy it would be. I wouldn't recommend it if noise and privacy matter to you.

Casa Egos Pop is in a safe, charming neighborhood in Medellín, with cafés, restaurants, and public transport nearby. The common spaces are cozy for spending time with others, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with options for different budgets, though some have no windows. Quiet hours run from 10 pm to 7 am, which made for peaceful nights. A relaxed, friendly, affordable place to stay.
